Welded Wire Lath for Interior Plaster and Exterior Stucco
Galvanized welded wire laths, flat or self-furring, with or without backing, reinforced or not reinforced, are all in our manufacture range. Welded wire lath is designed for use as a base to receive cement-based interior plaster and exterior stucco. Our welded wire lath complies with standard ASTM C933-14.
Self-furring crimps on self-furring lath is not less than 1⁄4 in. (6 mm) from the plane of the back of the lath.
The backing is either absorptive or water resistant. The backing has a bursting strength of not less than that required to maintain integrity under normal hand- or machine-application pressures.
The backing is attached to the lath to prevent accidental removal during shipping, handling or installation. Attachment of the backing allows lapping of wire-to-wire and backing-to-backing of not less than one mesh at ends and edges and permits full embedment, in not less than 1⁄4 in. (6 mm) of plaster, of not less than one-half of the total length and width of the wire.

Packaging
- Welded wire lath shall be packaged in bundles, rolls, or pallets.
- Bundles, rolls, or pallets all marked with metal tags or paper tags.
- Plastic or metal banding, or paper wrapping on rolls.
