Galvanized steel wire welded and green vinyl coated mesh 0.5 inch square holes, from 0.041 inch diameter mild steel wire, coated after welding. Green vinyl mesh material specifications as below.

Description: 0.5 × 0.5 inch galvanized steel wire welded and green vinyl coated mesh coils. The material is not weaved. The long (coil length) wires are one level and the shooter (short) wires are welded on the top layer.

Wire specifications: .041 +/- .002 inch diameter mild steel wire - one quarter to half hard. No spring temper allowed. Spring temper wire may cause a severe crown and coil curvature on the material that is too difficult to straighten.

Wire coating: Galvanizing. Although preferred to be coated after welding into the mesh, wire may be coated before welding.

Mesh size: 0.5 × 0.5 inch center to center dimension both ways. The shooter wires must be a consistent 1/2 inch. Tolerance on the center to center of the shooter wires: +/- .025 inch. However the average center to center over 24 inches must be .500 +/- .002 inch. In other words one ½ × ½ section of the shooter wires can be .475 inch to .525, but the average of all shooter wires center to center over 24 inches must be .500 +/- .002.

Material width: 17.500 inches +/- .020. must be welded to that width and vinyl coated afterwards. Material cannot have excessive crown (arch across the width). Crown not to exceed .250 inch over the 17.500 width.

Coil Size: I.D. to be 4.00 inches min. and 6.00 inches max. Length of unwound coil: 300 feet min. Average coil weight: 100 lbs.

Coating: Vinyl coated evenly for a total wire diameter of .055 average. Excessive globbing will not be accepted.

Color specification of the vinyl: Dark green such as a hunter or forest green.
